Anyone interested in Indian Textiles should visit “The Fabric of India “ exhibition at the V and A. This is a jaw dropping display of early Indian Textiles.
Some of the early Coromandel Coast prints are astounding. The Kashmir Map Shawl which is usually on permanent display is also incredible.
I will post some details of a similar quality shawl I sold 15 years ago, wish I had kept it.
